Hotel Schiff Am See - Murten

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel - it exceeded my expectations in so many ways! the location was incredible. Situated right in the heart of the old town, with stunning views of the lake from the balcony, it felt like a true getaway. Secondly, the staff were amazing - friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They even offered to assist with our luggage, despite there being no lift. Finally, the attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel. From the well-furnished and spacious rooms , to the delicious breakfast spread, everything was simply outstanding.

I couldn't find a single fault with this hotel - it was perfect in every way.

This hotel is a gem hidden in a charming old town by the lake. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views from the balcony. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the location right in the cozy old town and on the beautiful lake. The staff provided excellent service and attention to detail, making me feel truly cared for during my stay. The rooms, equipped with a graciously installed ventilator, were comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day off right.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel with great view and only a few meters away from the lake and boat pier. The location was perfect as it was very close to the historical city center. I was also happy to know that I could park for free in a place next to the hotel. The hotel facilities were clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

We stayed at a hotel where the location was perfect, just by the lake and in the old town, easy to walk around. Our room offered a breathtaking view of the harbor, but the overall room comfort was lacking, lacking a comfortable seating area and a decent light bulb. the staff was amicable, and the garden was lovely to stroll through.

The breakfast offered limited options, and it was not up to par with the hotel's overall rating.

The location of the hotel was superb, with stunning views of the lake and easy access to the nearby old town. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the availability of free parking nearby.

The walls and door were so thin that we could hear everything happening in neighboring rooms, making it difficult to sleep at night. the bathroom was too hot to even use and there was no way to adjust the temperature.

During our Easter stay, we had an enjoyable time at a cozy hotel with a breathtaking view of the lake. the room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of storage space. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi connection and the friendly staff who provided us with helpful information about the nearby attractions. the hotel's location was convenient, as it was close to the ferry quay and within walking distance to the historic town center. We also liked the fact that the hotel offered an outstanding dinner with a selection of locally-sourced dishes.
